Overview
Hisa was born among the Baruk of Barakos and was the sister of Hesi, who would later become Pinunong Hesi.
She chose to leave Barakos after falling in love with Juancho, a Nievesian soldier and veteran of the War of Golds. Although Hesi did not want her to leave, he accepted her decision because he loved his sister and did not want her life to be trapped in the harsh desert of Barakos.
Life with Juancho
Hisa and Juancho were accepted by the Nievesian court as harmless settlers who would not take part in conflict or rebellion. Their union represented a rare bond between a Baruk woman and a Nievesian soldier.
The couple later chose to live quietly in Lambak, which they considered their sanctuary.
Life in Lambak
In Lambak, Hisa and Juancho built a peaceful family life away from war, politics, and tribal conflict. Lambak gave them the freedom to exist beyond the old divisions of Erodas.
Although Hisa left Barakos, she did not abandon her identity. She remained connected to Hesi and the Baruk. She and Juancho often sent their eldest son, Logan, to Barakos so he could learn the culture, discipline, and heritage of the Baruk.
Mother of Logan
Hisa is the mother of Logan, later known as Jack during his amnesiac life in Lambak.
By sending Logan to Barakos, Hisa ensured that her son would know his Baruk roots even while growing up connected to Lambak and Nievesian life. This shaped Logan into a man of many worlds: Baruk by blood, Lambak by heart, and protector by choice.
Helping the Infant Bianca
After Hisa gave birth to her second child in Lambak, she and Juancho encountered two Amazonian women carrying an infant. The child was Bianca, secretly rescued from Arcos by Doktora Talia and Madre Debra.
Hisa helped nurse and feed the baby, offering aid without knowing the full royal and prophetic weight of the child she was protecting.
This act of compassion tied Hisa's family forever to Bianca's survival.
Death
After Talia and Debra left with the infant Bianca, Arcosian Green Vipers arrived in Lambak.
Hisa, Juancho, and their newborn baby were killed. Their deaths were part of the hidden violence committed to erase Bianca and protect the secrets of House Starkus.
They were later buried in an unmarked grave by Doktora Talia and Madre Debra.
The Unmarked Grave
The unmarked grave of Hisa, Juancho, and their newborn child became one of the most important hidden places in Lambak.
For years, Bianca honored the grave without knowing that the people buried there had protected her as an infant. Logan also did not know that the grave belonged to his own family.
When the truth is later revealed, the grave becomes a painful symbol of hidden sacrifice, erased history, and the cost of Bianca's survival.
Legacy
Hisa's legacy lives through Logan and through the truth of Bianca's survival.
She represents the possibility of peace between peoples divided by treaties, war, and prejudice. As a Baruk woman who loved a Nievesian soldier and built a life in Lambak, Hisa embodied the kind of Erodas that could have existed without hatred.
Her death shows how the old powers destroyed ordinary lives in order to protect royal lies.

Hisa is loving, brave, gentle, loyal, and quietly strong. She values family, peace, and freedom.
Though she comes from the Baruk, her strength is not shown through conquest. It is shown through her willingness to leave the desert, love across borders, raise her children with cultural memory, and help an endangered infant in need.
