Overview

Barakos is the western homeland and place of exile of the Baruk warrior people.

History

The Baruk were demonized after the War of Golds and treated as outlaws or mercenaries. Their history is later reexamined as evidence of political persecution and injustice emerges. After the war in 112 AR, they gain recognition and begin building a settlement near the Bay of Barda.

Notable Characters

Jack / Logan

A Baruk warrior and nephew of Pinunong Hesi. Though originally tied to Barakos and the Baruk, he later becomes a freeman of Lambak through his life with Bianca.

Pinunong Hesi

Leader of the Baruk and maternal uncle of Logan.

Barkus

A Baruk warrior and one of Hesi's men; known for his admiration of Roma.

Cecilia / Hisa

Logan's mother, a Baruk woman who later lived peacefully in Lambak with Juancho.

The Baruk Warriors

The exiled warrior people of Barakos who later join the Battle of Erodas.
