Saving Bianca
Madre Debra is a religious Amazon and the closest friend of Doktora Talia. When Talia escapes Arcos with infant Bianca, Debra joins the effort to hide the child and resist Starkus' royal lie.
The Unmarked Grave
Juancho and Cecilia shelter Bianca before the Green Vipers kill them and their newborn child. Debra and Talia bury the family in an unmarked grave, preserving the memory of the sacrifice until the truth can safely return.
Mother of Lambak
Debra enters the Lambak convent, baptizes the child Bianca from Talia's memory of Biancus, and raises her through faith, humility, labor, and moral discipline.
While Talia cares for Bianca's health, Debra forms her spiritual and emotional center. She raises a person rather than a princess, helping shape the compassion that later fulfills the prophecy.
Guardian of the Truth
Debra witnesses Bianca's life with Jack and supports her through his disappearance. When war approaches, she joins Talia in revealing Bianca's birth and the identity of the family buried in the unmarked grave.
Battle and the Three Mothers
