Bulkang Kulam is the dormant volcano of Evloz whose eruption at Maia's death marked the fall of the old magical age.
Sacred Volcano
Bulkang Kulam is the volcano located near the tri-border of Amazon, Arcos, and the Evloz Protectorate. It belongs to Evloz, the mysterious mountain region in southeastern Erodas.
The volcano is one of the most important ancient landmarks in Erodas because of its connection to Maia, the Great War, and the fading of old magic.
Eruption at Maia's Death
During the Great War of 1590 AM, Maia died. Her death caused Bulkang Kulam to erupt, turning Evloz into ash and ruin.
The eruption shook the land so violently that the gold of Evloz moved eastward toward what would later become the gold-rich jungle of Amazon.
Modern Belief
After the eruption, Bulkang Kulam became dormant. In the modern age of Erodas, it is believed to be filled with dark magic because of the many witches and magical forces surrounding Evloz.
Its name remains tied to fear, old prophecy, and the sacred grief of the diwata.
